OCTOBER
October is a busy month! In the month of October we observe bully prevention month and Red Ribbon Week. This month hosted a bully poster contest and we are working on a school wide banner of Duck Tape to show that we "Stick Together" against bullying. All classroom lessons provided by the counselor this month are focused on educating our students on exactly what bullying is. We want our students to be knowledgeable about bullying, what it looks like, how to handle it if they see it and consequences for bullying behavior. I know that parents often are concerned about bullying behaviors but here at Langford, we want our parents to know that we are committed to keeping students safe and listening to student concerns.
