FEBRUARY
National School Counseling Week is celebrated in February and man, oh, man did we celebrate here at Langford!! It was a week that I will never forget! The week was filled with loving compliments all around the school! I truly felt appreciated! The PTO, SIC, and administrators outdid themselves with a lovely surprise presentation on the news show. As we continue to move through this month, we have begun our 7 Mindsets lessons with students and this month we are focused on the theme of "LIVE to GIVE." Our lessons are centered around generosity. Grades K-2 are reading about generosity and identifying it in scenarios. Grades 3-5 are filling up Post-It notes of compliments to their peers. Students are participating in great discussion and putting what they have learned into ACTION! As always, the best way that you can support the "Counselor Connection" here at Langford is to model generosity for our students at home and within our community. Our Labs Lea
