The month of March is here and I hope that spring will soon be upon us! This month we are again focused on one of the 7 Mindsets- " we are connected ." Students will learn about cultivating positive peer relationships and how/why these connections are important as well as teamwork and cooperation! We will read stories, see illustrations and create our very own pictures that will show how connected we are. We will be reading "The Crayon Box that Talked" which is a wonderful story of how "alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." What can you do at home to support the social emotional learning that we are doing at school? As always, model ways to cooperate and work well with others. Read books to support the idea of cooperation and have discussion on what cooperation looks like.
