April is here and we are celebrating the Month of the Military Child! We will have various activities throughout the month to applaud our military students and the resiliency they display as they lead a life that is full of change, goodbyes and newness. We have collaborated with Blythewood High School JROTC and they will be honoring us with a drill team presentation. In addition to Soldiers from Ft. Jackson coming to conduct a PT day with students, we are also hosting a military art fair. Military students will have the opportunity to correspond with students that attend C.C. Pickney Elementary School on Fort Jackson as well as a DoDEA school overseas!! Lots of fun activities planned to say "THANK YOU" to our military students here at Langford.
